In finding the right videos ...
You have to weed out the good from the not so good. People are excited that they are there at the show, but they or their friends or people around them are wasted and spoil the whole video ! You can't wait till the performer starts singing, so that maybe the crowd will hush and lsiten. Then you have the good video work, but the guy behind you has a piercing whiltle, or the karoke chick, who thinks she can sing but can't carry a note, ruins it for the rest who are there or like us, watching this video. This is the best I could get of this song, like others, I went through Tim's archives to pull out brand version stuff. I hope you enjoy this one.
Tim & Tug McGraw
Tug McGraw, played Major League baseball for the Philadelphia Phillies for many years. Going from town to town, he came across groupies and fans, who, well he spent some time with ! One such lady was Tim's mom. Tim hadn't met Tug, for a long time, but his mom told him about Tug. Long after Tug retired from baseball, Tim always wanted to someday find him and meet his father. You can see the resemblance in the potos, and I had hoped to find at least one song on the Brothers of the Sun tour, from Philly. I found it. Tug McGraw died from cancer a couple years ago, and Tim penned this song thinking of his father. This is, Live like you were dying !
